HOME PLATE is an annual outreach event held at Comerica Park at which current and former members of the Detroit Tigers, along with other professional athletes, share about their careers as professional athletes and their faith in Jesus Christ. This pre-game event began in 1987 and people of all ages attend from church and community groups located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Ontario.

Each ticket is $35 for pavilion lower deck seats and includes the pre-game program at 9:30am, on-field baseball clinic, and the 1:10pm game between the Detroit Tigers and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

First 30 people signed up gets transportation included! Bus will leave Oakwood at 7:30am.

Join Detroit Tigers pitchers Matthew Boyd & Will Vest, outfielder Kerry Carpenter, and retired Detroit Tigers Frank   Tanana and retired Detroit Lions Jason Hanson for a program that will include these athletes speaking about their career in professional sports and faith in Jesus Christ. Additional speakers from the Tigers, Diamondbacks, and other sports may be added. Schedule changes and other circumstances related to the nature of their profession could prevent one or more speakers from participating.

Detroit Tigers players and coaches from 11:00am to 12:15pm for all attendees.
